My story
Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up surrounded by them, I learned early on that every cat has its own personality, quirks, and way of showing affection — and I've never stopped being fascinated by them.
After years of looking after friends' and neighbours' cats, I decided to turn my passion into a proper service. Mabel's Whiskers was born from a simple belief: cats deserve attentive, loving care in their own home, not the stress of a cattery.
I live locally in West London and know these neighbourhoods well. When I visit your cat, I'm not a stranger — I'm a familiar face from just around the corner.
Cat fosterer
I'm a volunteer fosterer for a local rescue organisation, which means I regularly care for cats and kittens who need a safe, calm environment while they wait for their forever homes. Fostering has taught me how to handle cats of all temperaments — from the boldly confident to the quietly anxious — and how to earn their trust gently and patiently.

I have experience of giving cats and kittens medicines so I can help if your cat needs regular medication.
My approach to cat care
I believe the best cat care is calm, consistent, and cat-led. I follow your cat's routine as closely as possible, respect their boundaries, and never rush a visit. Some cats want a fuss the moment I walk in; others need time before they'll even acknowledge I exist. I'm happy either way.
